Metamorphoses - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Classes with Niels Badenhop

Niels Badenhop

Morning class

Through a choreography set to an aria/chaconne from Johann Joseph Fux’s serenata "Dafne in Lauro", beginners will learn the basics of the Baroque dance style.
Those with some experience who would also like to bring to life the transformation of the nymph Daphne into a laurel tree are also welcome to join this course!

Afternoon class

In Niels’ afternoon class, dancers of all levels – from beginners to advanced – will perform choreographies based on the Four Seasons from Henry Purcell’s "The Fairy Queen", tailored to their respective abilities.
